This is a great Aboriginal children's album featuring didgeridu that delivers strong cross-cultural messages and themes. In 1999 award winning singer Johnny Huckle joined his talents with those of Helen Moran, and performed as the duo “Shades of Brindle”. Johnny has released two collaborative albums with Helen Moran: “Wombat Wobble” and “Listen to the Spirit”, as well as an EP “Black Enough”. Johnny has been performing around the country for over thirty years. Johnny is more than a singer and musician, he is an entertainer with an infectious ability to engage his audience to the max. One minute he is comical and funny, the next moving and poignant. With his big voice and dynamic guitar work, Johnny is one huge package of talent. His musical diversity includes the Blues, Country, Contemporary Folk, R&B and Rock. As a song writer, his lyrics are potent and thought provoking as they deliver strong and inspiring messages. His songs reach out to his audiences, touching them on many levels. While some make you want to dance and sing along, others will bring a tear to your eye or leave you in deep thought. To date, Johnny has released four solo albums, “Reflections of Johnny Huckie”, “Wiradjuri Country”, “Koori Love” and "Spirit Man". Johnny has also appeared on several Compilation albums, including “Koori Classics 7”, “Off the Wall & Black”, and “Burraay Dreaming Them Home”. Johnny has also been a member of the 1980’s band ‘Black Pearl’, In 1994 he joined forces with Merve Graham and performed as the duo ‘Dirabang’. In 1997 Johnny became a lead vocalist in the Canberra based Aboriginal band “River Bank”. Johnny has performed and toured throughout Australia. His overseas tours have included Vietnam, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Switzerland.
