The debut album from artist Belle Hendrik and collaborator Barry Milan. This studio album is a moody blend of electronic, soulful beats with exhilarating vocals and instrumentation. Recorded in Australia and Japan the album also features two tracks recorded live at Australia's premier Jazz venue, the Basement, with the John Hill Band. The songs are lyrical and poignant, and the music easy to listen to and at times rocking as in the tracks "The Ballad of Sojourner Truth" and "Mary Don't You Weep" a story of abduction. Featured guest artists include Tina Harrod on Vocals and Jason Morphett on Tenor Saxophone.
